. I think I found an answer. Fleur de Sel – go on a Monday, every month they pick a wine varietal and it’s 1/2 off on Mondays Pomorol – cute in meetpacking, good food, outdoor garden Perigord – very old school French, brasserie type Daniel – THE French restaurant in NYC, IMO, by Daniel Bouloud Nice Matin – UWS classic Cafe Alsace – new on the UES, Alsatian fare – they have a BEER somilier with over 100 beers from around the world. Get the Duck Confit, amazing. Le Bernadin – the best seafood I’ve had in NYC. hope that helps, good luck.
Hey, I’ve got people coming in to celebrate my birthday soon and I’m looking for a great restaurant in Santa Monica right on the beach with spectacular ocean views, and great food. I’ve seen a lot of answers posted that have great Santa Monica restaurants, but I can’t figure out which ones have the best views combined with good food. We’d prefer American or Californian style food, but seafood, steak are great too. Right now I’m leaning towards The Lobster because of the views, but I’m not sold on the menu. Oh, and a restaurant where we can get outside seating/sunset seating would be perfect too. Ideas anyone? Malibu locales might work in the future when I’m out with locals, but we’ll coming from Glendale, CA after them flying in that day. We want something in the Santa Monica area so after dinner we want to walk around the pier. Thanks for Gladstones, though. I have it earmarked for the future. . Any restaurants near the pier any good. Essentially — THE LOBSTER it is on the Santa Monica Pier. Strongly recommend reservations. Prices vary between 30. 00 – 40. 00 (personally I think this is pricey). Food was very good, very nice/upscale restaurant and you couldn’t ask for a better view (on the pier.). It has a Zagat Rating. Another location OCEAN AVE SEAFOOD on Ocean Ave. (On the corner of Santa Monica Blvd. And Ocean Ave. ). There is a view of the ocean. Prices vary (not as expensive as The Lobster), very nice/upscale restaurant too. It also has a Zagat Rating too. Another answerer suggested I CUGINI, 1501 Ocean Ave. , Santa Monica. I agree, this is also a very good restaurant, has a great view and they do have a ocean view patio(reservations recommended). The food there is very nice and price wasn’t bad either. Hope this helps with your search.

I was curious about attending NYC Restaurant Week. Has anyone been before? Do we need to make reservations? Do all restaurants apply? Any information would be helpful. Thanks. I was happy to learn… I’ve been to many different places over the years for Restaurant Week (RW). It’s one of the great treats of living in NYC. The short answers to your questions are (a) if you want to eat at the better restaurants, then yes, you’ll need to make reservations, particularly for dinner and (b) not all restaurants participate, but many do. I’ve included a link below to those who participated in Winter 2010, as well as a link to the official site. The think to keep in mind is that restaurants vary widely in terms of what they offer on their RW menus. In some cases, you get only two or three choices, and none of them are top dishes or signature creations. In other cases, you get to pick from the best the kitchen has to offer. It’s not always obvious which is which, though, so it pays to do a little research by looking at menus and reading reviews in order to get the best values and to avoid disappointment. Some places really make an effort to put their best foot forward with their RW dishes, while others seem to dial it in and not care too much. To sum up what RW is all about, participating restaurants offer a specially-priced three-course lunches for $24. 07 and three-course dinners for $35. 00 You don’t need a special reservation, and you’re free to order off the usual menus, but the prices can be substantially higher, of course, depending on where you go. Hope this helps.
New York City Restaurant Week features $25 lunches and $35 dinners at some of the Big Apple’s best eateries, and today we’re spotlighting three of our favori. . .
Can anyone suggest any good restaurants in midtown new york city that are reasonable? Somewhere around 42nd to 46th street and 3rd avenue area. Please suggest places you have actually been to or have heard good things about from friends. Price range 10-20$ a person. Please include address and/or link if possible. Thanks. From what I can tell… In the Times Square area, there are MANY places to eat. One of my favorites is Bubba Gump’s Shrimp Co. If you like the movie Forrest Gump, you’ll love this place. (Even if you don’t love the movie, the food is great) Reasonably priced for a midtown restaurant. Although this is not by 3rd Ave, nothing is too far in NYC, everything is walking distance. Take it from someone who has strolled from The Village to Penn Station.

Chester is a charming city in the North West of England and although not a particularly big city, still has plenty to offer visitors all year around. In fact, Chester is actually a prominent tourist destination, largely thanks to its historical background. Chester is a Roman city, dating back to the 70’s AD and any of its features from that period are still marvelously intact.
The city walls are once such reminder of times gone by and visitors can still walk around large portions of these walls, allowing any good views of the city as well as being able to marvel at the engineering involved in building them all those years ago. There is also an amphitheatre which has undergone lots of restoration work and frequently stages plays and shows for entertainment, especially in the summer months.
Shopping is very good in Chester and much of it very central, so there is not too much walking involved. With many shops undercover it allows for a good afternoon’s shopping whatever the weather and whatever the season.
The River Dee flows through the city and there is a very pleasant walk alongside the river, with music on a bandstand and boat rides available for all the family. Chester Cathedral is also well worth a visit, standing as it does in the heart of the city, it’s a beautiful building in a delightful area.
With so much else to see and do in the city, you will soon find that you work up an appetite and start looking for somewhere to rest and eat. You certainly won’t be struggling for options, with a whole host of restaurants in Chester to whet your appetite. Whatever your culinary leanings, you are sure to find something that will delight your taste buds.
Whether you prefer your food fast, slow or on the go, Chester restaurants cater for each and mostly all eventuality. With a whole host of fast food joints to satisfy the youngsters, you will soon have their energy up again for a bit more shopping. If you are heading into town for a romantic meal for two, again Chester delivers with classy eateries in mostly all corner of the city. If you prefer a drop of traditional English tea, you will find this also in abundance.
Chinese, Brazilian, American, English, Indian, Mexican as well as much, much more are all represented around Chester and the backdrop of the city provides the perfect palette for your palate!
If you are lucky enough to visit one of the most beautiful, historic cities in England then you’ll know that Chester is one of these places. Chester is set i. . .

Do corporate parks have the right to prevent vehicular entry into their complexes even if they’ve a public facility such as a Bank Branch or restaurant inside? Talking about Mindspace in Malad (w), Mumbai, which has a Pizza Hut outlet and an ICICI branch (which are also publicized on the respective sites of Pizza Hut and ICICI), but outsider vehicles (vehicles not having a Mindspace tag) are not allowed inside. Is this legally permissible? Referring to vehicular entry inside corporate parks, parking comes much later. From what I can tell… Parking spaces are a premium in big metropolitan cities like Mumbai, Delhi etc. The rightful owner of all public spaces in a city is the Municipal Corporation of that city. Now, it might so happen that the Municipal Corporation of a city is unable to collect revenue to its fullest potential for some reason or the other. In that case, it might offer the facility to a corporate organisation, which will run the facility, collect revenue and pay an amount concurred upon, to the Municipal Corporation. The corporate organisation that gets to run a public facility is mostly chosen through a system of bids, with the highest bidder getting the chance to run the facility. Since a lot of money is involved, the corporate organisation will try to maximise revenues and thereby its earnings. In its effort to maximise earnings, it might introduce certain rules of its own in connection with running the facility with the approval of the Municipal Corporation. Thus it is not unusual for the facility in your question (Mindspace) to offer restricted parking facilities. If the restrictions imposed are with the approval of the Municipal Corporation, then there’s no illegality on the part of Mindspace. Pizza Hut or ICICI Bank also do not have obligations in this regard, as vehicular parking is not part of any deal offered by these business organisations. There may be banks or restaurants without a public parking space in a mile of the same. However, if there’s any illegality, it is on the part of the Municipal Corporation, which allowed Mindspace to offer conditional parking facilities. The Municipal Laws of the city should be explored to check whether the Municipal Corporation can allow Mindspace to run its business in the way it does. If there’s no problem on that account, then there’s no illegality in what Mindspace is doing.

I will be in Las Vegas soon, and I’m starting to look at restaurants to look at. I will be staying at the MGM Grand Skylofts. For my first night, I will be dining at Joel Robuchon. The next night we want to eat at a steakhouse, but we don’t know which one. We are looking at- Charlie Palmer’s in the Four Seasons Hotel SW Steakhouse in the Wynn Cut in the Palazzo Maestro’s Ocean Club in the Crystals or Delmonico in the Palazzo. Help please. Thank you. (P. S. Price is not a factor). From what I can tell… We’ve been to Cut and Delmonico, and I think Delmonico was my best dining experience ever. The food was good and the service exceptional. They have an amazing wine list, and the restaurant decor primarily consists of the displays of its wine collection. Cut was good as well, but didn’t stand out as much in my mind.
Does anyone know the name of the restaurant in downtown Houston that has a tree growing out of it ? It is a little pricey, maybe Italian, but I THINK it’s main feature is a tree that grows right in the middle… And it is sort-of small. ANYONE KNOW WHICH ONE I AM TALKING ABOUT??? It is more of an upscale restaurant, and they have vallet (sp?) parking. And the parking lot is sort of small. It is on a busy street too (MAYBE near the museum). What I found out was – Michelangelo’s Restaurant 307 Westheimer Houston, Texas 77006 Phone 713-524-7836 It’s not in downtown. It is in Montrose, the tree was originally in the front yard. They built out the porch to enlarge the dinning area and surround the tree. Very good Italian food and excellent service. You will need reservations.
Running a restaurant looks like hard work and long hours.
What percentage of restaurants are profitable? And what is the average revenue and net income of a small restaurant. What I found out was – 90% of restaurants fail in their first year of existence. A 10% profit level for a restaurant is considered a success. The average revenue and net income is hard to define without knowing the food concept and what type of liquor license the establishment will have: just beer and wine license or full bar license? Will the restaurant depend heavily on take out food orders or mostly dining within? The hours are very long 12 to 15 hours a day if yo will be serving lunch and dinner.
Chicos Tacos?? Si Senor? Taco Tote? Mi Tierra? Which ones have you eaten at. After speaking to others on the web, I found the answer. The best Mexican restaurants I’ve eaten in have always been privately owned, never chains. I’m willing to bet that the top ten are privately owned as well, and possibly not well advertised. I’m certain I’ve never eaten in one of the top ten in the nation–I live way too far north for that. I have, however, found very good food. One restaurant was an all-bilingual family staff with the kids running around for added authenticity. The food was great and they even had “real” coke from Mexico–with real sugar instead of the corn syrup we add in the states. It was actually in a rougher neighborhood and quite out of our way, but the trip was worth it. Honestly, you’d be better off nipping over to a decent non-Mexican restaurant with a semi-open kitchen and a decent percentage of Mexican cooks and ask what the best Mexican restaurants are in town. Believe me, they know. If you don’t speak much Spanish, there’s always at least one translator on all shift, even in Texas. They’ll know the food quality and kitchen sanity from the Cook’s Grapevine, too. If you ask in English, they may tell you a more English- and American-palate friendly choice, so make sure you specify if you want truly authentic, incredible Mexican cuisine and are willing to take on the language barrier to get it. A Mexican restaurant for Mexicans south of the mason-dixon may not be bilingual. I’ve had the privilege of working with three “mexican kitchens” as they’re politely termed in the food industry, and those guys have never steered me wrong. They’re incredibly helpful with everything from where to find the best produce to great local restaurants and where to get salsa lessons.

I need help brainstorming marketing strategies for a local restaurant. It is a barbeque motor sports bar. It is not a chain and the whole atmosphere is very friendly. It’s like they want to get to know you not just make a profit. I was happy to learn… Marketing for a local motor sports bar? Hmmmmmmmmm start with passing out a Business card to everyone you meet take the bus, go to races and put one in every windshield wiper. Run an ad in the newspaper opposite the nascar updates but start with a business card and on it offer a 10% discount and hole punch it every time a customer comes in until they get to five times and then produce and pass out to all that come in five or more times a drinkers license for all the regulars. On it have pert info like: favorite sports, teams, athletes, racing teams, drivers, drinks, beers, wines, favorite foods and their picture and gloss coat it in surlyn too. Give them a number and letter combo and no two customers get the same number. They get it after the tenth visit and if they use it they get a 15% discount off an entire bill with unlimited use. . .

I live in louisville. After speaking to others on the web, I found the answer. Thai restaurants are family structure company with service lines in dinning areas and kitchen staffs. Good Thai restaurants produces friendly services (smiling and greetings) with collect environments not a meditation class environment. Fast and collect orders made not waiting for 40 minutes for a dish made. Food food and good ingredients for example fresh produce and fresh vegetables. Especially good taste of Thai menu not sweet and only sugar within that dish. We in Sydney or Thailand would travel 35 minutes to the best made Thai Fried Rice in Town. Its like Pub Crowding. Thank You
Thousands of New Yorkers are talking about Jaiya Restaurant. It is being known all over the city as the best restaurant to get Thai Food. Jaiya Restaurant is. . .
Restaurants are now more popular than they ever were. This is because of the current structure of our modern society where almost everyone is too pressed for time to cook. People who are not interested in cooking are more interested in socializing and this can be best done at restaurants. The Romans and Greeks used restaurants as the meeting spots to gather together during holidays and week ends. And it is from this custom, the restaurant culture spilled out to the other parts of the world.
Out of many reasons why people choose restaurants these days, socializing themselves stands top of them. Now-a-days in this modern world, getting sometime to chat with friends or make new relations in the office time is not possible for many working people. Therefore, restaurants are chosen to make new friends. Restaurants are of different types. Some are exclusive only for a certain age group and do not allow others that do under fall under this category. The restaurants are even categorized depending on the interior design and even the music they play for the visitors within the restaurant. For instance, many restaurants whose target audience is youth play mostly some hip-hop or pop music than some traditional custom music in order to attract them. These restaurants are less inclined on attracting the older generation. On the other hand for the older generation people who are rich enough to dine in a restaurant, these kinds of restaurants play classical music.
Holidays and good occasions also attract people to visit restaurants. One can hardly overlook the aspect of dating when we talk of restaurants. Restaurants play a major role and are the first places for a man and women who wish you achieve their date successfully. At these places these people can talk more personally and familiarly with much less distraction. And other people who are not into this dating yet use these restaurants as good spots for getting relaxed. In addition to these people and the general weekends or festivals, Businessmen and women, students and others for family occasions such as a child’s birthday or an anniversary are meeting up at restaurants to celebrate.
Depending on the general look of a restaurant, the restaurant chairs are much assorted. Restaurnt chairs that are more comfortable are preferred by the restaurants because more and more people are willing to spend large time on recreational purposes like live music bands or performances after completion of eating. These type of arranged can be mostly found in booths. Booth restaurants have become very common. These booth restaurants provide much privacy for people to discuss their business or personal affairs. The seating in these is made with comfortable leather or cushioned material and are more encouraging to someone sitting for unadulterated amounts of time. Out of the many factors on the way a restaurants looks, the restaurant chairs play a key role in the determination of the looks. Do the rooms provide microwave, fridge, drinking water or we need to ask for the room service for these things at additional cost? Also are there any extra/hidden costs or charges during the stay, like for baggage,internet,tea/coffee/juice,breakfast?Also can any one find vegetarian food at the restaurants in Luxor. Today I found out that… The rooms at the Luxor do not include micro/fridge or water for free. They will be provided at an extra charge. No coffee maker in room either but if you’re gambling you can order any beverage 24hrs in the casino and tip the server. Internet is also an extra charge. As far as vegetarian food – I really can’t recall but you could call them and ask or do a menu search for their restaurants online. Of course there is always the salad bar on the buffet but there are so many great restaurants in vegas you shouldn’t have a problem even if you do stay at the Luxor.
We want to re-paint and add new decor to our restaurant, so please help…. It is an Asian restaurant for starters. It has wooden chairs with a dark green cushion. The tables are either rectangular or square tables with white tablecloths and glass over it. The tablecloth color can change according to the design. Walls are just blank with a strip of “molding” running across the middle (it looks like crown molding but your the center of your wall not the edges). We also need new colors for the men and women restroom (they are two different rooms). I hope this is good information. I was happy to learn… Choosing a color really depends on what mood you want your restaurant to have. . Do you want people in and out of there fast? Choose red. Do you want people to relax, enjoy their meal and linger over coffee? Choose natural colors such as greige: Here is a link for greige colors (my favorites being stone lion and woodcut) You didn’t mention what color the wood of the chairs are. Are they dark? Light? Can you post a pic of what the restaurant looks like now? That would help. As for the bathrooms, since they are common areas, in design, it is an unwritten rule that common areas have the same (or close) color as other common areas in the place to be designed. Have your bathrooms the same color as the restaurant. Just use something original on the doors to designate which is female and which is male. . How about a geisha on the door for the women? Here are some links for zen decorating, which is good for asian restaurants: I know this pic is small, but it’s my favorite. I really like this one too. this is great. %204. Jpg ‘Asiatique03. Gif Hope this helps you decide. Good luck with your restaurant.

I heard that some sizzler’s have muslim managers which will provide halal meat upon special request, but im not sure if it’s true. Apart from that is it okay to eat the fish and chips? People say that it is beer battered so im not too sure. I was so glad to find this — Go to the Sizzler site, and click on the Contact Us button. You can write and ask if there are any such menu options. The fish and chips are not beer battered as a general rule, but there is a huge range of food for you to choose from. What are any cool restaurants in Madison, WI? I’m talking something out of the ordinary; like the HuHot where they make the frozen food you prepared right in front of you. Basically… Ella’s Deli (Where E. Johnson St. Meets E. Washington Ave. ) – Not a bad deli, but definitely worth a visit for the sheer volume of whimsical doo-dads, gimcracks, and thing-a-ma-jigs moving, dinging, and twirling around the palce. Takara (State St. , between Gorham and Johnson)) and Ginzu of Tokyo (Odana Rd. , just off of Gammon Rd. ): You mentioned “food made in front of you”, so these are the places to go for theatrical hibachi. Ian’s Pizza (Frances St. , between University Ave. And Dayton Ave. , or State St. Just off the Captiol square): By far the most original pizza in town, with such options as the Reuben, Chicken Pot Pie, Guacamole Burrito, Chili Cheese Frito, and the hugely popular Mac & Cheese. Yes, all those options I mentioned are PIZZAS. Buraka (State St. , about a block away from the UW Campus): Because how often are you going to get the chance to enjoy East African cuisine? Library Mall Food Carts (at the West end of State St. ): If you’re free during lunch, definitely stop by Library Mall on the east side of the UW campus. Only the carts deemed the Best of the Best get this primo real estate during lunchtime. Hubbard Ave. Diner (Just off Hubbard Ave. And Parmenter St. In Middleton, WI), or Monty’s Blue Plate (Where Atwood Ave. Meets Eastwood Dr. ): Diner atmospheres with over-achieving diner food. Best pie in all of the Madison area (IMHO). Mickie’s Dairy Bar: (On the intersection of Monroe and Regent, across the street from UW’s football stadium) 1950’s diner with the single best breakfast values in terms of pound of food per dollar. Saturday atmosphere is beyond compare. Closes on Mondays, and at 2 PM daily.

I’m wondering what any restaurants with great breakfast menus are. I have homework to do , and im rather confused. I need to produce a questionnaire to give to people. This should have what decor and service’s the restaurant should have but I cannot think of any ideas to put down . any help please. Essentially — Decor: For dinner, would you prefer formal or informal decor? Do you like low voltage lighting or a fully lit restaurant? Do you like a candle on your table? Do you prefer a plastic coated menu or paper menus? Do you prefer to sit at a table or a booth? Do you prefer to drink out of glasses or plastic? Do you enjoy outdoor dining? Do you like to hear soft music while you dine or current favorites on the radio? Do you prefer linen napkins or paper napkins? Do you like tablecloths or place matts or neither? Do you like intimate dining? Would you prefer a water or mountain window view? Do you like rustic decor or refined paintings? This should get you started on the decor end of your questionnaire. Good Luck

My boyfriend and I are going to New York city really soon and I wanted to know about really cool restaurants with great food. Nothing too expensive please, but anything moderately priced is good. Anyone have any suggestions or recommendations. After looking around, I learned — Some of these are a little on the expensive side, but any are on the cheap side as well. These are any of those “must see” restaurants, and others are personal favorites. John’s Pizzeria – BEST pizza in the city, definitely. It’s not only pizza, their Italian style entrees are delicious as well. When I come here, I like getting the pizza with Caesar Salad Mediterraneo – We all love it in my family. It’s delicious Italian food, pasta, chicken, fish, etc. My most treasured dish is the Penne al Sugo Toscano, which is the best “pasta with meat sauce” you will ever taste. Afghan Kebab House II – very good and very under appreciated. It’s a small Afghani food restaurant but definitely worth while. It has a nice romantic atmosphere with the lights dim and several candles lit. I like the Chicken Kebabs with rice. Their rice is delicious. Jackson Hole – Obviously famous for their burgers. I’ve had better, but for any reason, everyone I know seems to just love these burgers. Totonno’s – Great pizza and Italian food. Beijing Wok – Great chinese food at a great price. I like the Sesame Chicken, Sesame Noodles, Chicken with Broccoli, Chicken Dumplings, everything is good. (the last comment is extremely exaggerated. I mean, this isn’t much of a restuarant, there are only about four tables, but it’s good for ordering/takeout)
