French Restaurants Nyc

. I think I found an answer. Fleur de Sel – go on a Monday, every month they pick a wine varietal and it’s 1/2 off on Mondays Pomorol – cute in meetpacking, good food, outdoor garden Perigord – very old school French, brasserie type Daniel – THE French restaurant in NYC, IMO, by Daniel Bouloud Nice Matin – UWS classic Cafe Alsace – new on the UES, Alsatian fare – they have a BEER somilier with over 100 beers from around the world. Get the Duck Confit, amazing. Le Bernadin – the best seafood I’ve had in NYC. hope that helps, good luck.

If you like French fusion, there is a French-Vietnamese place on W24 between 5 and 6 Aves called “Sapa”. Amazing food and gorgeous decor. Great spot for romance.

what level of French do you want? If you want casual French dining you can’t beat L’Express

    I’ve always liked
    Provence
38 Macdougal St, New York, NY
    (212) 475-7500

The food is good, service is attentive. The wine list is balanced. Its good for a romantic dinner or for a group.

There are any very expensive French Resturants which will run you a couple of hundred $ a person. Most are excellent:

Alain Ducasse — Central Park South
Jean Georges — at Columbus Circle
    Daniel — East 65th Street
    Bouley — Tribeca

But value for money. . . I like Provence
