West End Restaurants

I am a late 20's moving to Glasgow from Canada for work and I'm not sure where to live according to my preferences. So here we go. Looking for: – flat / roommate – good neighborhood life with things to do (bars, restaurants, etc.) – that area is not a ghost town after working hours / weekend – nearby grocery room gym – good access to transport, and Kingdom of Glasgow (work) I just realized that the West End or downtown would be good. What do you think? Can you give me an idea of neighborhoods and offer me something that would suit me. After looking around, I learned – West End would probably be great for you as this is where Glasgow Kingdom. It has a mix of mostly students and young professionals, is pretty middle class and very safe but has many restaurants and upscale bars and a few metro stops and stations. A beautiful part of the city. Specifically, you would be looking at places like Partick, Hyndland, Dowanhill, Kelvinside or Jordanhill. Obviously, the city has more amenities, more bars etc and if it can actually be cheaper. You can get from the center to the West End quickly by metro (stop Partick, Hillhead, Kelvingrove or Kelvinhall). For you, I recommend you probably the West End property. If you have specific questions add them here and I'll try to help you.
